Ruth supports leaders who are refining their unique leadership style to get the best results for themselves and their teams. As an executive coach, Ruth is known for her insightful questions and her empathetic approach. She believes that when a leader operates in alignment with their own core values, they are more likely to achieve their goals.
Before becoming an executive coach, Ruth worked as a senior manager in journalism. Her experience in an ever changing industry, leading creative people in an intense work environment has given her the skills to be a clear-eyed and calm coach. She is committed to the principles of inclusion and fairness. As a coach, Ruth is driven by curiosity and the desire to support leaders who are keen to grow.
Ruth has a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and is a member of the International Coaching Federation. She has worked with leaders in government, communications, journalism and the energy sector. In addition to coaching, Ruth volunteers as a mentor in the Upskilling Program for Inclusive Excellence at the University of Toronto.
