KRISTINE INTERVIEWED ABOUT HER APPROACH TO COACHING:

“Coaching with Kristine has really had a powerful impact on my self-confidence, mental wellbeing, and leadership skills. Starting a new job and taking over an organization is not an easy task but having someone as a sounding board and really verbalizing the thoughts I have, has made a huge difference. Kristine has helped me to set personal and professional goals, see the wider picture of occurring challenges, and guided me to improve specific skills. She is excellent in asking open-ended questions and helping to solve absolutely any kind of ad hoc issues by asking those questions. She has guided me to build personal awareness and hit the gas on the strengths I have as a leader. And, at the same time, I have learned about the sides of myself that I need to work on to achieve my goals more successfully. She has created a safe space for me to reflect in and I am deeply thankful for that.”

Lisa Thomson Stifora
Director of Communications and Stewardship

I started working with Kristine at a pivotal point in my life and career – I was set to return to work after a 12 month maternity leave when I got the call that I was being laid off. On our first call, Kristine asked me if I had acknowledged the trauma of job loss. With that question, she gave me permission to release the feelings I had been holding in since I got that call – shame, hurt, betrayal, and deep sadness. Not only did she give me permission to acknowledge these feelings, she provided a safe space to talk about them. That is the kind of coach Kristine is – empathetic, thoughtful, kind and intuitive. While our sessions were always productive and focused, there was also always space for humanity.

Her process is truly tailored to the individual as she keeps your goals top of mind at all times. She expertly guided me through exercises and conversations that pushed me to get specific about my values and strengths which ultimately led me to an exciting, new career path. I left every session with a renewed sense of energy and confidence about myself and my future. Beyond the thoughtful one on one sessions, Kristine also always made time to review my personal materials, and offered clear smart feedback on opportunities for improvement.

I highly recommend Kristine as a coach to anyone considering a career change or facing a transition. She steered me through a turbulent time, and I will always be grateful for her coming along side of me during this pivotal point in my career.

“What sets Kristine apart is her unique mentorship style. She blends strategic thinking with genuine concern for the well-being and professional development of her team members. Her approach has been transformative for me, helping me become more strategic in problem-solving and personal growth. Kristine’s willingness to engage in difficult conversations is admirable, but what truly stands out is how she approaches them with kindness, empathy, and the belief that they are opportunities for growth. Her ability to cultivate trust and openness has fostered a collaborative and productive environment within the team. Her wisdom, experience, and warm demeanor make her an outstanding leader, who has played an integral role in my own development as a leader in the nonprofit sector. Her exceptional qualities and leadership abilities will continue to positively impact the lives and careers of those fortunate enough to work alongside her.”
