Jim holds a Masters of Education degree from the University of Manitoba and is a certified Executive Coach, from Royal Roads University with PCC credentials from the International Coach Federation.  Partnering with executives, professionals, leaders, and organizational teams he supports them in aligning their personal and professional goals and in reaching greater levels of performance, achievement and satisfaction.  Using a flexible and practical approach, Jim’s ultimate goal is to assist his clients to lead confident, successful and balanced lives while enabling their organizations and institutions to move more rapidly toward the vision they hold.

Jim has over 30 years of leadership experience in both rural and urban settings, primarily in the health and service field.  He has held positions at a large teaching hospital, within community-based organizations, and within the organization and staff development area of a major regional health authority.  Jim is currently also on contract as coach with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Manitoba.  In that position he provides coaching support and acts as a resource for undergraduates, postgraduates, faculty and staff.   Jim is also a former associate faculty member at Royal Roads University, in their Executive Coaching Program.

Jim has a profound belief in the power we can create when we live at the edge of our possibilities.  His passion can be summarized as wanting to awaken and support a personal sense of purpose for leaders via appreciative inquiry and compelling questions.  As your coach, he will partner with you to help you live your values as you discover, uncover or recover your inner abilities, skills and resources and address your present issues to achieve a higher level of personal and professional functioning and satisfaction.
