Ian Watson is a Certified Executive Coach who empowers leaders and professionals to create more good days through empathy, presence, and genuine care. A member of the International Coaching Federation, he is pursuing his Associate Certified Coach credential. Attentive to clients’ stories, situations, and goals, Ian provides a coaching environment where people feel seen, heard, and understood.
He believes everyone has the capacity to lead and live with clarity, purpose, and alignment to their core values amid uncertainty, complexity and change. With 30 years of experience in the international and Canadian energy sector as a geoscientist, supervisor, advisor, and culture transformation manager, Ian brings deep technical, business and organizational insight and practical leadership experience to his coaching work. His background enables him to understand the realities leaders face to promote meaningful, transformative and sustainable change.
Ian grew up in southern Ontario on a Christmas tree hobby farm and is married with two children. Outside of work, Ian enjoys volunteering, travel, exploring cultures, camping, and curling.
