The Golden Rule is Wrong

business team working together

What if treating people the way you want to be treated is holding your team back?

We all bring different perspectives, motivations, and stressors to work. While the Golden Rule tells us to treat others how we want to be treated, that approach can fall short in diverse, dynamic workplaces. This course introduces a better way—adapting to how others want to be treated—leading to stronger relationships, better communication, and a more collaborative environment.

The Workshop Overview

In today’s diverse workplaces, a one-size-fits-all approach to communication falls short. This interactive workshop creates space for reflection, discovery, and practical learning as participants explore how assumptions and personal preferences can impact working relationships. Using the DiSC® framework as a foundation, the session encourages curiosity and empathy, helping participants reframe how they connect and collaborate with others. With thoughtful facilitation and engaging activities, the day is designed to be both insightful and applicable—equipping individuals to return to their roles with greater awareness and connection.
