Leadership Skills for an Agile Approach to Interactions
The Agile Leadership program is a starting point for leaders to build stronger emotional intelligence. Rather than relying on instinct, agile leaders use emotional intelligence to adapt how they respond to situations they face. They do this by reading the emotional and interpersonal needs of a situation and adapting their approach.
The Workshop Overview
In this workshop, leaders learn how to navigate outside their comfort zones, solving dynamic and diverse challenges rather than reaching for the same responses out of habit. Helping leaders adapt to circumstances – and understand how and why others react to those situations differently – is part of Agile EQ.
Empowered to meet the demands of any situation that arises, leaders will grow more confident in the leadership skills they need to support their team members effectively.
This workshop includes:

- Custom assessment with personalized tips for each participant.
- Engaging facilitation with helpful video.
- Online follow-up to create a personalized learning experience.
What Participants Learn
By the end of Everything DiSC® Agile EQ workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify and describe their inherent EQ strengths.
- Recognize areas where they can develop their EQ potential.
- Discover the instinctive mindsets that shape their responses and interactions.
- Recognize opportunities to stretch beyond what comes naturally to them.
- Take action to become more agile in their approach to social and emotional situations.
- Use customized strategies for building agility in their leadership.
The Workshop Modules
Module 1
Discover Your Mindsets
- Participants discover their DiSC style and learn about the Agile EQ mindsets that come naturally to them.
Module 2
Recognize and Value Other Mindsets
- Participants deepen their understanding of all the Agile EQ mindsets and recognize the value of shifting to less comfortable mindsets.
Module 3
Act to Become Agile
- Participants explore anticipated difficulties in stretching to new mindsets and create an action plan for becoming more agile.
The Personalized Profile
Adding a deeply customized aspect to this program, each participant completes the DiSC Agile EQ assessment ahead of the workshop and then we provide them the customized profile that results. We use the profile throughout the workshop, allowing participants to make very personal connections to the content.
Before and After the Workshop
In many ways, the follow-up effort after a workshop is just as important as the workshop itself. Your participants will have a great day of learning in the workshop but it’s how they apply that learning back at work, in the real world, that is going to make the difference and boost your ROI.
Setting Up Success before the Workshop
Prior to the Agile Leadership course, participants will complete an online leadership assessment called DiSC Agile EQ. This generates a customized, incredibly insightful and useful profile that we will use throughout the course and as a helpful reference afterwards.
Applying the Learning after the Workshop
To ensure we deliver the most success for your participants, Padraig follows-up the workshop with a number of methods including:
Follow-up emails reminding participants of different parts of the curriculum and prompting them to think about that content and to apply it in that moment at work.
Each follow-up touch point also includes tools the participant can download to apply the learning.
As well, since this workshop uses the DiSC Agile EQ profile, we provide each participant with complimentary access to comparison reports — in-depth comparisons between them and a colleague to help them build an even stronger relationship. When both parties agree, the system will generate a Comparison Report for each of them, with new and different detail than was covered in the group workshop.
