Padraig Coaching has developed two, hugely successful, peer leadership group programs that combine
- group coaching with our certified executive coaches,
- 1:1 coaching, and
- peer learning,
providing incredible leadership learning and coaching while you forge lasting business relationships with other leaders.
Our coach asks great coaching questions that get us thinking deeply. The manager’s in our group are all very seasoned and I have learned a lot from their perspectives and experiences shared. I also like the unstructured approach to our group. We do have articles to read beforehand but the learning happens in the conversations.
Our company is a spread out across 6 provinces. The program has helped me explore my leadership practice with other GM’s across the company pipeline. The focus on the self has helped me reflect on my weaknesses and leverage my strengths. The focus on the team has further developed relationships that will provide benefits for each of us in the group and for the company.
I think that this peer group is the ticket. I did a year of one-on-one coaching, which was excellent, but having others in the coaching with you really opens your mind and you can learn and discuss and take in what they are saying.
The group sessions have reinforced that I’m on the right track and that others are facing similar challenges and experiences. I’ve taken away a few key lessons that I’m trying to integrate into my daily work.
I really liked listening to each other and hearing how they handle situations in their different roles. And, I also really liked that after our sessions, my coworker and I could further discuss and apply what we discussed, as we go about our daily work.
The day-long workshops are very beneficial, in my mind. The break-out rooms and scenarios we work on are great learning experiences.
Being in The Network has changed the way I look at issues at work and how I deal with them. As part of the program, we received our DISC profile and that has changed the way I look at my colleagues.
I now deal with conflict better, and I’m being more understanding with my colleagues.
